Why do I need a copy of my CPO Certification?

There are a number of reasons as to why you may need to have a copy of your CPO Certificate. A health inspector may be asking for a copy during a routine inspection, a prospective employer may be requesting a copy, or your state/county may require that you hang a physical copy somewhere on your property. For all of these reasons and more, you are provided a physical and digital copy of your CPO Certification after passing your CPO Course. But life happens and sometimes these certificates go missing

Should I Contact My CPO Instructor For A Copy of my CPO Certificate?

Believe it or not, your CPO Instructor won't be able to directly get you a copy of your CPO Certificate. Once you have completed the course and passed the exam, your instructor passes submits that information to the Pool and Hot Tub Alliance where you certification is processed and sent out to you. Once this submission happens, your certification is out of the control of your instructor and in the hand of the PHTA. 

Contacting your CPO Instructor will only result in them rerouting you to the PHTA's replacement CPO Certificate request page.
